I think Miles can match that with 352 lbs... he doesn't jump well though. _________________ Adarqui to squidward:

He has the biggest explosive strength deficit I have ever seen, by far. _________________ Adarqui to squidward:

| How tall is Miles? He definitely doesnt look to have as large a deficit as you are making it sound like to me. Isnt he jumping 35+? I definitely havent seen him jumping or lifting as much as you have but from what I have seen he appears to be pretty damn explosive. |

Well... he's 5'7, 138 lbs, about 8% bodyfat I think. Squats full about 310 lbs, has box squatted to parallel 352x3 reps (that's 2.5x X 3 reps). His standing vert is about 30 inches I guess, maximal running vert is about 34-36 inches. So you get the idea. _________________ Adarqui to squidward:

Damn, he looks alot heavier than 138! I still dont think thats a terrible explosive strength deficit but I get what youre saying. I was thinking he was 170-175 lbs. The shorter levers require more strength than longer levers in jumping. A double bodyweight squat for a long levered athlete will usually mean a great carryover to jumping. A shorter levered athlete may have to get closer to 2.5 or more to get the same effect. |

Yeah absolutely... but I was comparing Miles with Rip, they're both pretty much the same height and same built (I know, there are so many variables but they look "enough" alike to expect a smaller difference in their jumping).
The only thing really separating them is the fact that Miles is very jump inefficient and isn't investing a lot of time in jumping like he could/should. _________________ Adarqui to squidward:
